Basia and her "hubby"

A visit to Snoep Winkel Farm is a bucolic treat. Cows graze calmly in the pasture. Pigs root happily in the shade. Sheep and their lambs romp around the meadow. Peeping chickens peck the grass. Several goats climb on rocks. Bunnys peep out of their cool coop.

Basia and Gary VanBoerun began their operation with a 4-H project. Today, they raise a large variety of animals for order. Customers can order a half, a quarter, even an eigth of an animal to be custom processed. Basia will raise the animal, caring for it just as she would for her own table, and then process it into small cuts for her customers.
